How to acquire a free SSL certificate?
A free SSL certificate (of cPanel’s brand, signed by one of the largest authorization centers in the world: Comodo) for a domain is created automatically after adding the domain in Domains section in cPanel, installation (generating an SSL certificate) usually takes a few minutes.
The certificate may not be generated if:
· during the addition of a domain, its DNSes do not point to our hosting (DV type certificates are authorized by referring to the domain),
· rules in the .htaccess file prevent access to the page or redirect to another page or https page

Free SSL certificates are issued for 3 months. Before the certificate expires, it is renewed. It can therefore be concluded that the free certificate is permanently valid.
